The company Heico Umformtechnik GmbH belongs to Theo Heimann Group – it is a family-owned company with 110 employes and yearly turnover in excess of 20 milion EUR. The production uses about 4500 tons of wire and produces roughly 750 milion parts a year. The input material is wire in diameters from 3 to 16 mm (steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc). The products can have head diameter up to 25 mm and length up to 100mm. Apart from 2 to 6 stage machines the company works with CNC automatic machines for additional processing (internal and external threading, rolling, milling, tapping and drilling). High productivity (up to 160 parts per minute) and zero production cut out guarantee lower cost than regular machining. In addition, coldforming improves the material strength as it permanently reforms the grain of the material to flow with the shape resulting in significant increases of strength and hardness. The products have smooth surface finish. In August 2007 we achieved an important step in bringing Heico closer to customers in Central and Eastern Europe - founding of joint company HEICO 2 ES and start of production of semitubular rivets, initially on two machines with further expansion during the year 2008. HERA is a family owned company with 60 employees and yearly sales over 11 milion EUR. The production includes a wide range of products formed from wire through bending, pressing, punching, rolling and more: special screws, pins, connecting parts, hooks and further more complicated parts for automotive and building industry, production of furniture and electrical appliances. Further assortment includes sheet metal stamped parts. Thanks to own toolshop and high level of know how we can offer complicated parts with high level of forming. Furhtermore we can also offer formed tubes. All of the above products can be combined to sub assemblies (welding, riveting, connecting) and that either from automatic or hand production. The manual assemblies are provided through joint company HERA 2ES, located in the Czech Republic and thus offering these services at reasonable cost. HERA 2ES also offers complex logistics services - packing to customer specified boxes, daily or weekly deliveries and supperior and fast customer services, which cannot be achieved effectivelly over long distances from the production site in Germany.
